Rompe-se o sonho

Livre vai a noite

E, ao romper da aurora,

o cheiro da manhã,

a eclodir-se, no ar.

 

O horizonte a se abrir,

estrelas, em bando, a fugir,

E eu a te procurar.

 

Em canto, eu busco, eu te grito,

mas o canto da manhã

esconde o meu canto,

oculta o teu sorriso

e me faz despertar.

 

Perdi-te, em sonhos

Romperam-se os abraços

E eu não pude te encontrar.
