Saber Esperar (Dom Pedro Casaldáliga)
Saber esperar, sabendo
que o tempo não existe mais.
Nem o correio, nem a imprensa
têm sua caixa florestal.
O sol é de ontem de sempre,
E um dia é mais um dia.
A noite, com muriçoca
A lua, não é para se fiar.
Amanhã será outro dia,
e arroz não nos faltará...
Acordaremos cansados
com vontade de sentar;
mas com a espera no ombro,
e nos caberá esperar
outro dia, todo o dia,
... para aprender a esperar.
