CAMINHOS ÁRIDOS


 
Na beira da estrada margeando as cercas
Onde outrora deu frutos hoje só aspereza
Bravamente sobrevivem as árvores secas
Esperando a chuva para retornar a beleza

Subi em teus galhos quando eu era criança
Comer os seus doces frutos agora é proibido
No céu nuvens negras trazem-me esperança
O meu clamor lá do alto Deus tem ouvido

A natureza é agraciada com a chuva divina
O homem deve ajoelhar e também agradecer
Basta olhar para a árvore seca que ela ensina
Que tem o tempo certo para plantar e colher
