Com o olhar verde da esperança
Até onde minha memória alcança
Recordo as doces lembranças
Lembro-me do meu tempo de criança
Do meu avô com sua voz mansa
Das festas com muita dança
Das brincadeiras na vizinhança
Da economia com a sua pujança
Onde existia bastante confiança
Ninguém pensava em vingança
Havia muito mais semelhança
Todos unidos com perseverança
Anjo da guarda era nossa segurança
Mas o tempo implacável, avança!
