PARTEIRA

Ouvindo o silêncio no quarto
Ansiando pelo alegre final
A parteira no trabalho de parto
Traz a vida num gesto divinal

Ouve-se um choro rasgado
Daquele ser pequeno e indefeso
Do amor fraternal será alimentado
E diariamente ganhará peso

Cresce formoso o amado menino
Pretende ser muito feliz afinal
Rodeado pelos amigos seus

O que lhe reservará o destino?
Num mundo onde reina o bem e o mal
Contará com a ajuda de Deus.
