A Rua da Paciência já mudou de nome
e ela ficava na Vila Constança, bairro
próximo de Tucuruvi, na
Zona Norte de São Paulo.

RUA DA PACIÊNCIA
 

Você me chamou de bigode,
era moustache, mas tanto faz.
O bigode branqueou...
faz tempo, nem uso mais.

Meus cabelos e os seus também
para sempre perderam a cor.
Mas, este branco nos convém,
é da idade do ‘condor’.

Éramos grandes amigos.
Não nos preocupava o futuro.
Naqueles tempos antigos,
a gente era imaturo.

Mas, tudo um dia mudou.
Cada um foi pro seu lado.
Tudo para trás ficou;
todo mundo tá casado.

Eu relembro com saudade,
e de todos sinto a ausência.
As vezes, passo ali, verdade;
naquela rua, paciência...
