Se o poema um dia te entristece,
a culpa não é dele, com certeza.
Rimas não curam quem padece,
e nunca serão causa de tristeza.

Para a tua dor pode ser o lenitivo
a palavra que com carinho te acalma.
Da tristeza o poema nunca é o motivo,
pois a causa sempre está em nossa alma.

Porque as mulheres não deveriam dormir
