Amar é ter no peito um sentimento
Que nos tomou de assalto e nos mantém
O coração em constante sofrimento
E a razão, em prazer, dele refém.

Amar é ter no peito um sentimento
Que nos enche, até aos olhos, de fulgor,
E cá dentro é a sede e o alimento
Que nos mata e nos anima de vigor...

Amar é arrebatado atrevimento,
Pensar ser do Éden descobridor,
Naufragar a um passo de o merecer...

(E num abraço à praia se entregar)

É a gente sentir-se em encantamento,
É um morrer-se por prazer de pura dor,
Um viver-se em depurador padecer...

(E sublimar-se num beijo de se salvar)
