PÁSSARO CANTOR

Num canto ininterrupto com som divinal
O grande Maestro invisível rege a sinfonia
Uma linda canção contagiante e magistral
Prenunciando o nascer de um novo dia

Abro as janelas e também o meu coração
Sou todo ouvido ao talentoso artista alado
Quando sem avisar ele interrompe a canção
Sai do meu jardim este pássaro inspirado

Volta em seguida com o som mais forte
Ignorando a chuva que cai sem parar
Passei a madrugada em claro e por sorte
O pássaro cantor veio para me alegrar

Agora ouço seu som já bem mais distante
Em outro jardim foi apresentar o seu canto
Eu fui agraciado por este mágico instante
O cantor voltará amanhã com o seu encanto
