Sois vós a minha alma
tudo aquilo que sempre quis,
dei-vos todo o meu amor,
esquecendo-me de mim!
A todos sempre dei
amor, amor, sem fim,
sois razão de minha vida,
por amor, sou assim!
Sou homem bom e honesto
neste dia talvez,
dei-vos todo o meu amor,
mais não posso dar assim!
Vocês são minha esperança
toda a minha alegria,
meu sofrimento, minha dor,
luz da minha vida!
Para sempre persistir
toda esta alegria,
vós, meus filhos,
sois razão desta vida!
