O FILHO DO POETA

No dia catorze de janeiro
O meu filho Bruno nasceu
Ele foi o primeiro
Filho que Deus me deu

Nasceu às nove horas de dia
Num clima de dor e amor
Da dor veio a alegria
E do amor da mãe o calor

E este calor alimenta
O novo ente querido
E a cada dia aumenta
O amor por ele adquirido

Todo dia é uma surpresa
Ele chora, ri e brinca.
De todo jeito é uma beleza
Ele é o quadro, eu sou a tinta.

Para ele toda a minha estima
Motivo dos versos meus
Ele é a obra-prima
Que nos foi dada por Deus
