ENCONTREI-TE


Na parte mais velha da minha cidade
Onde existem casas que carregam história,
Encontrei-te um dia já nestoutra idade
Em que o tempo ido nos deixou saudade
E tantas imagens carrega a memória


Olhei o teu rosto... mesma suavidade...
Olhei teu sorriso, promessa de glória,
Quando nos teus lábios sentia vontade
De lhes dar um beijo mas que na verdade
Nunca consentiste tal dedicatória


Ainda cá dentro me dançava o sonho
Uma luz mais fraca, menor densidade...
Em tempo de outono de que ora disponho
Quem dera rever-te! Já ando tristonho
Em todas as partes da minha cidade.
