HE

He was all the beauty in the world
And the reason I lived for
I became aware of it
The minute He said hello
All the brief moments
He has given me
Were so sweet and tender
That not even a lifetime
will erase it off my mind
I loved him so much
And He gave me a fair share of happiness
But now when all it’s grace
Were blown away by the wind
Why should I complaint
When He never promised me anything
I feel like a frightened little bird
That all of a sudden lost a wing
On it’s fall from heaven,
Trying hard not to give in
And keep it’s head straight
And I wonder about
If it sounds the same
When somebody else calls his name
Or if it tastes the same
When someone else kisses his lips.
