Depois de ter querido e ter amado;
Depois de ter amado e ter perdido;
Depois de ter lutado e ter vencido;
Depois de ter vencido e fracassado!
Depois que o sonho comandou: ''Avança!"
Depois que a vida ironizou:"Criança!"
Depois que idade sentenciou: ''Jamais!"...
Depois de tudo que escarnece e exalta,
Depois de tudo, quando nada falta,
Depois de tudo, falta muito mais!
