Tangano...
Uma flor entre os dentes
Rosa negra escrava africana
Unindo culturas diferentes
Atraca em praia americana

Tangó...
Significa Quilombo em português
Ritmo religioso com percussão
Para os compadritos perde a vez
Transforma-se em baile, música e canção

Tango...
Dançado pelas classes mais pobres
Em pouco tempo mudou seu destino
Passa a ser apreciado pelos nobres
Acrescentando o piano, a guitarra e o violino

Tango argentino...
Saiu do subúrbio para outros lugares
Conquistando o salão da realeza
Expandiu dos bairros de Buenos Aires
Copiado pela sociedade francesa

Tango mundial...
Com Carlos Gardel o tango ganhou voz
“Mi noche triste” foi a primeira canção
Prenunciava uma morte atroz
Em 1935 num acidente de avião

Tango universal...
Hoje o tango está consagrado
Canção como “Mi Buenos Aires querido”
Passos sensuais e rostos colados
Aproveite, isso não é proibido.
