Se tantas vezes nos perdemos e tantas nos encontramos
É porque o destino mesmo se encarrega de cruzar nossos caminhos
Se tantas vezes nós choramos, e tantas nós sorrimos e cantamos
É porque o sentimento comum é verdadeira obra do destino
Se a distância hoje é cruel, e o abandono é real
Se as mãos se procuram e nada encontram
Se arquivamos temporariamente nosso ideal
Se sofremos a ausência da alegria
Temos também a esperança que um dia
Os caminhos bifurcados
Sejam de novo atados
A boca volte a sorrir
Na bonança que há de vir
