Os quinze anos de uma alma transparente,
O cabelo castanho, a face pura,
Uns olhos onde pinta-se a candura
De um coração que dorme, inda inocente...

Um seio que estremece de repente
Do mimoso vestido na brancura...
A linda mão na mágica cintura...
E uma voz que inebria docemente...

Um sorrir tão angélico, tão santo...
E nos olhos azuis cheios de vida
Lânguido véu de involuntário pranto...

É esse o talismã, é essa a Armida,
O condão de meus últimos encantos,
A visão de minh'alma distraída!
