Podre victima de Venus,
Metaphora da existencia,
Fiou-se de um boticario,
Homem de sã consciencia.

Tinha o pustuloso enfermo
Uma gambia retorcida,
Que para a parte de fóra
Como que enxotava a vida.

Tenaz emplastro lhe estende
A pharmacopola mão,
Com que dê nome á botica,
Dando cabo do aleijão.

«Deixe estar (diz o mestraço)
Que isto logo, logo abranda.»
Que succedeu ! Pôr-lhe a perna
Torta para a outra banda !
