Pobre amigo

POBRE AMIGO

Amigo tiendes la mano
suplicante la mirada,
murmurando un por favor
con voz triste y apagada.
Selene puso en tu pelo
brillantes hebras de plata,
Febo al dorar tus mejillas
dejo su impronta marcada,
los vientos tu piel curtieron,
surcos dejaron las aguas,
en tu rostro leo la historia
de una vida maltratada.
Compadecido te doy
una moneda plateada,
me miras y agradecido
Dios te guarde -dices- gracias.
Sintiendo en el corazón
una mordiente punzada
me alejo, cobarde soy,
por él no puedo hacer nada.
