CASTIGOS

 

Dançaste nos meus olhos. Desde logo,
envolto na volúpia dessa dança,
ficou-me o meu olhar por ti em fogo,
chegou-me a tempestade. Sem bonança.

Mas não te posso ter. Porque me arrogo
a conservar por ti alguma esperança?
E já que é tanto assim, inda interrogo
porque há, com meu olhar, essa aliança?

E ficas, e torturas, dia e noite...
sem que haja um só momento em que me afoite
fazer da companhia abdicação.
 

Castigo de quem ama as lindas formas
cumprindo da razão regras ou normas
que nunca entenderá o coração.
