ANDAVA A TRISTEZA

Andava a tristeza só e moída!
Já não via por entre os olhos,
O espelho terno dos abrolhos.
Andava a tristeza só e moída…

Abrigou-a um doce cheiro de vencida!
Onde outras como ela, eram aos molhos,
Umas tontas, outras pálidas, outras de folhos…

Ela, a minha tristeza, sorria,
Pois, a um canto perscrutou quem queria.
Era a tristeza mais bela, de pranto singular!

A ela foi direito, sem parar a minha tristeza!
“ Ai tristeza mais triste, minha dama siamesa”.
Ela disse: “Porque lamentais, se estamos aqui por um amar”.
