Villain Lady-mini series

Back at Sunbelt Lane
Detective sat in his easy chair
and teased himself by pressing a
gun to his right tempel

The night Villain Lady payed
him a visit played in his
head like a broken record

He turned his anger into revenge by
first composing a resignation letter
to his mentor and police Captain

Detective had crossed his heart and
hoped to die, and now was the
right time to make the promise real

Villain Lady pulled herself up
from a crisscross position,at
the same time pulling on her duffel bag

It was time to begin the walk
towards her emerald city of dreams
The life sentence of who and what
she was, bestowed upon her during
conception was not going to stand
in her way, even if it all turned
out to be a lie.
