Constância no deserto (Cecília Meireles)
Em praias de indiferença
navega meu coração.
Venho desde a adolescência
na mesma navegação.
- Por que mar de tanta ausência,
e areias brancas de tão
despovoada inconsistência,
de penúria e de aflição?
(Triste saudade que pensa
entre resposta e a intenção!)
Números de grande urgência
gritam pela exatidão:
mas a areia branca e imensa
toda é desagregação!
Em praias de indiferença
navega meu coração.
Impossível, permanência.
Impossível, direção.
E assim por toda a existência
navegar, navegarão
os que têm por toda ciência
desencanto e devoção.
