O último suspiro
O grito abafado
do corpo rendido
ante o inimigo mortal
instalado no território vital
O câncer apaga
lentamente a chama
de uma pessoa amada
de uma alma que clama
pela libertação dolorosa
que lhe custa a própria existência
para livrar-se da dor e sofrimento
ante o implacável avanço da célula cancerosa
nesta lenta agonia
do corpo que padece
e implora por uma anistia
à impiedosa enfermidade
o ser murcha pétala a pétala
da flor que foi um dia
só lhe resta o alívio da morfina
pra suportar toda a algia...
