Vê minha vida à luz da proteção
que dás disposta a dar-se por amor
e quando a mãe te deu à luz com dor
o espírito adensou-se nela então
o mesmo que em espigas pelo verão
a negra fronte bela foi compor
de inverno em voz amarga acusador
a cuja vista as lágrimas virão
Meu amor em teu corpo se cinzela
e dele os outros seres recebem vida
perante ti criança os que da ferida
sangram exposta ao mundo que flagela
A mim foste mais bálsamo porém
do que as curas balsâmicas que tem.
