A PRIMAVERA E O TEMPO

Tentei segurar no braço
A tarde quando caía
Na certeza do fracasso
Para não perder o dia
Pois o tempo tem mania
Não atrasa nem adianta
Sem convite é companhia
Mata o que ele mesmo planta

Deita comigo e levanta
Mas não morre, quem me dera
Não saúda a primavera
Nem o pássaro que canta
Silencia o que acalanta
A nova estação e o clima
Tudo ao fim ele destina
E até o eterno se espanta

Perseguindo eternamente
Pois é só isso que sabe
Fazer com que um dia acabe
A existência do vivente
O tempo passa contente
Sem saber o que é espera
Alheio à primavera
Que quer renovar a gente.

Quem me dera
antes do dia findo,
bem antes da primavera,
antes do meu nascimento,
sem existir a espera,
eu acordasse num momento
do meu sono profundo.
E, como em sonho tudo invento,
eu inventasse nosso mundo.

Esse novo mundo inventado
Nesse sonho que foi criado
Por quem escreve poesia
A criação é seu papel
Com seu sentimento profundo
E eu sonho com esse seu mundo
