Que nos adianta ficarmos ressentidos
Tristes e amargurados,
A olhar para a TV,
Na esperança que o momento volte para traz!
São tristes nossas lembranças do passado
Presentes neste momento.
Que adianta todo o espanto e lamento,
Porque é hora do confronto mais importante!
Daquele, de nós distante
Impossível chegar.
Que sempre aguardámos
Com prazer e grandeza!
Dum pequeno país
Cheio de grandiosidades,
E faminto por futebol,
Que a todos nos faz vibrar!
Damos todo nosso apoio
Vestindo-nos da mesma cor,
Repletos de amor, emoção e alegria,
Evocando patriotismo e devoção!
Levando a todos os cantos do mundo
Gritando sempre bem alto,
Nosso soberbo orgulho,
Virtudes da nação, o nome Portugal…
