CANTAE E APRENDER
Vão agora aprender
Como devem fazer,
A matemática resolver,
Cantar até aprender.
As aulas de matemática
Para todos diabo ser,
Alguns querem aprender,
Multiplicar, somar e dividir.

O professor não se importa
De quem não quer aprender,
Manda para arreliar, a tabuada dizer.
Três vezes nove, vinte e oito
Grita o professor arreliado
Ó meu grande burro!
A soma está errada!
E assim continuam
A tabuada dizer,
Em forma de castigo,
Para não mais esquecer.
Para manter
A memória avivada,
E não mais esquecer,
Com a canção vão aprender.
Esta lição de vida
Que vai terminar,
Todos devem estudar,

E de tanto em casa estudar,
O papagaio aprendeu a contar,
Da gaiola faz a soma que nunca se ouviu,
Quatro e quatro é oito viu.
Melo em teus versos abri a caixa de meu passado, quando criança meu pai todas as noites me tomava a tabuada e de tanto estudar o nosso papagaio aprendeu antes de mim e a cada término de conta que ele fazia lá se ouvia em gargalhadas longas um belo "viu".
Obrigado amigo por me trazer avante tão gostosa lembrança.
