SONETO ÀS FLORES DA SEXTA-FEIRA SANTA

Flores do campo a natureza cria
E a tantos seres humanos encanta
Enfeitam nessa sexta-feira santa
A vida que acontece nesse dia

Elas de mim não tem inveja ou mágoa
Nem sequer sabem da minha mensagem
Nunca irão chamar por mim na estiagem
Sabem que do céu um dia cai água

Apenas admiro sua beleza
Colhê-las a matá-las equivale
-É a morte antecipada na colhida

Por isso as deixo para a natureza
Que a seu bel prazer as despetale
Ciclo do tempo a renovar a vida
