A QUEM TEM MEDO DE AGOSTO

Há quem creia que o agosto
Seja um mês perigoso
Eu também fico sestroso
Não sou de dormir no posto
Pois a ele estou exposto
Nesse dia que começa
E a luz do Sol sem promessa
Chega no verso e penetra
Retorna em forma de letra
E em décimas se expressa

Seguindo o mesmo roteiro
Sobre mês e o perigo
O mesmo também eu digo
De janeiro e fevereiro
Desde o último ao primeiro
Vão entrando no funil
Assim como março e abril
Meses maio, junho e julho
Sem a fama nem barulho
Do mês agosto civil

Logo chega a primavera
Pois lá vem mês de setembro
Depois outubro e novembro
Que a gente chegar espera
E por pensar que é quimera
O medo do mês de agosto
Deixo aqui meu verso posto
Minha arma de combate
Com dezembro de arremate
Seja ano ou não bissexto.
