A BEIRA DO CAMINHO

Sentado a beira do caminho
O homem que de caminhar se cansou
Olhar triste desencorajado e sozinho
Sem forças ali mesmo ficou
Seu trajeto é bem mais distante
Sente-se sem concluir a carreira
Seu alvo seria ir mais adiante
Foi vítima do desanimo e canseira
A beira do caminho a esperar
Retomar as forças e prosseguir
De passo a passo é preciso chegar
Sabe que inútil será desistir
Pensa consigo, como fazer
A vontade seria a carreira encerrar
Para trás quantos passos irá perder
Se deixar o cansaço o levar
Assim é a vida dos seres humanos
A carreira da vida a se percorrer
São traçados entre sonhos projetos e planos
É preciso pé na estrada para percorrer
A beira do caminho não chega ao fim
Mesmo com os pés feridos, se tem uma meta
Feliz e vitorioso será enfim
Quem percorrer a carreira completa
Superando os obstáculos sem temer
Alcançar o alvo é a missão
A taça da conquista erguer
Até o fim, é o que quer o campeão
