Por que não inventamos
A Paz preventiva?
Fazendo das armas
um monte de lixo,
para reciclá-las
em rodas, em discos,
em livros, em berços,
em barcas e enxadas,
em húmus de vida.
Plantamos em todos
os cantos da Terra
o Amor e a Justiça.
Tu me dás a mão,
eu te dou um beijo.
Os dois escutamos
O Deus do silêncio
E o grito dos pobres.
Sentamos os grandes
diante dos mortos.
Sentamos os órfãos
às mesas da escola.
Perdemos o medo,
Ganhamos o Mundo.
