Chega o circo mesmo à beira
Da nossa própria soleira.
Chega alegre e bem disposto
A todos satisfaz com gosto.
Vem animais amestrados
Uns ferozes, outros domesticados.
Vem palhaços e trapezistas
Ao povo encantar.
Chega o circo á nossa terra
As crianças vão adorar.
Os palhaços fazem rir
Com vontade de chorar.
Gostam de pregar partidas
Palhaço rico, homem pobre.
São o encanto da pequenada
Seus aplausos o pagamento.
Chega o circo à nossa terra
Hoje é dia de felicidade!
