Talvez o nosso mundo se convexe
Na matriz positiva doutra esfera.

Talvez no interspaço que medeia
Se permutem secretas migrações.

Talvez a cotovia, quando sobe,
Outros ninhos procure, ou outro sol.

Talvez a cerva branca do meu sonho
Do côncavo rebanho se perdesse.

Talvez do eco dum distante canto
Nascesse a poesia que fazemos.

Talvez só amor seja o que temos,
Talvez a nossa coroa, o nosso manto.
