Saudade

A saudade mata a gente*, poeta.
Pois num de repente
a vida foge da corrente.

De que valeu o poema de Homero,
a fúria de qualquer Nero,
tanto pecado sincero
e, no fim, um choro amarelo?

A felicidade desceu pelo elevador
e restou o inútil corredor
por onde se leva a vida sem cor.

O amor dói.
