Da hora prometida,
Não sei que mal agoiro
Me anoiteceu a vida...
Temo de regressar...
E mata-me a saudade...

Não sei que dor me invade.
Nem quero prosseguir,
Trilhar novos caminhos,
Meus pobres pés dorir,
Já roxos dos espinhos.

Perder-te, imagem vaga...
Cessar... não mais te ver...
