Chora triste o violino
Dor tal de quem o escreveu
Fina flor de linho fino
Que te cobre o ceu

Arrastada com amarras
Que de ver os olhos se arrancaram
Tal crueldade eles se amavam
E tal dor me arranha

Que o choro pouco amado
No tormento a morte bebeu
Aqueles cujo, o amor a morte venceu

Chora por aqueles
Prisioneiros de amor
Que choram pela sua dor
