Sol que nunca amanheces
Não sinto o teu calor
Que depois adormeces
E beijas-me com amor

Naquela triste manhã
Entras pela janela
Cheio de silêncio e fará
O acordar para ela

Olho-te pelo parapeito
Da janela solitária
O que dele é feito
Do meu sol deste dia

Veio as nuvens roubar-me
O sol que nem meu era
Agora só me resta esperar
Para o acordar da nova era
