Ferrofluid, Manipulação através de campos magnéticos

Ferrofluid é um líquido que apresenta grande magnetização na presença de um campo magnético. Os ferrofluidos são compostos por partículas ferromagnéticas (geralmente hematita ou magnetita) em escala nanoscópica suspensas num fluido, geralmente um solvente orgânico ou água.
