The Taqwacores- trailer

Yusef, um estudante de engenharia da primeira geração do Paquistão,

move-se fora do campus com um grupo de punks muçulmanos em Buffalo, Nova York.

Os seus “pouco-ortodoxos” amigos da casa decidem apresentá-lo ao Taqwacore,

punk hardcore muçulmano que só existe para o oeste.

A sala torna-se uma mesquita durante o dia, e de festas punk à noite.

No final Yusef é influenciado por Taqwacore, e começa a desafiar a sua própria fé e ideologias.

Os ambientes Taqwacores com as complexidades de ser jovem e muçulmanos na América moderna.
