Uma ambiciosa jovem de Nova York, Beth Harper (Kristen Bell), desiludida com o amor,

faz uma atribulada viagem para Roma para ver a sua irmã recém-casada.

De forma desafiadora, ela pega moedas mágicas de uma fonte do amor deflagrando,
