Eu vi nos braços da Aurora
O sol tremendo com frio.

Se isto vae de foz em fóra,
Tambem com luz diamantina
Vir raiando a matutina
« Eu vi nos braços da Aurora :»
Só me falta ver agora
O caranguejo de um rio,
Ver os effeitos do cio.
Cantar modas um macaco,
A lua a tomar tabaco,
«O sol tremendo com frio !»
