Uma d'estas, que adoecem
Porque um mosquito as mordeu,
Disse para um seu criado:
«Chamem-me o doctor Sandêo.»
Eis o Hypócrates, que abonam
Honrosos cabellos brancos,
E eis subitamente a dama
Aos soluços, e aos arrancos.
D'onde lhe veio este excesso
Na hypocratica presença ?
De estar doente deveras:
E era o medico a doença.
