 Em “Machete “ acompanhamos o renegado Machete (Danny Trejo),

um ex-agente federal mexicano que depois de ser despedido pelo chefe do narcotráfico,

Torrez (Steven Seagal), vagueia pelas ruas do Texas e acaba por aceitar uma proposta de Benz (Jeff Fahey),

um conhecido relações públicas que o contrata para assassinar o senador McLaughlin (Robert De Niro).

O filme recebeu críticas positivas e obteve uma estreia bastante positiva nos Estados Unidos da América.
