Amanheceu-me um sono friorento.
Faltou-lhe o desejado agasalho.
Nessa noite escura e de tormento,
que tentei pendurar no verde galho.

Não tendo conseguido tal intento,
no sonho aparecias magoado.
Prostrada, passiva e sem alento,
vagueava o olhar atormentado.
No quarto apertado senti o cheiro.
Terra húmida de fortes chuvadas.
Natureza irmanada em calafrio.
Não sei de teu errante paradeiro.
Procuro-te no meio das levadas.
P´ra te resgatar aquém do meu rio.
